Scarecrow Supply Cairo Airport, Egypt

In quarter 1 of 2020, Scarecrow supplied Cairo International Airport, Egypt with our vehicle-mounted bird control system through our local agent Senoussi Freezone & IGS Company. The plan was for Scarecrow Director, Lee Pannett, to visit CAC and provide training on the use of the system and distress calls shortly after supply but unfortunately, Covid-19 had other plans for global travel…

An online training session was held for Mr Abodaif and his colleagues Mr Nasr and Mr Waleed at IGS Company and after months of restrictions they have now managed to gain access to the airport to install and provide initial basic training on the Scarecrow equipment to staff at Cairo International Airport

The CAC staff Mr. Ayman, Mr. John, and Ms. Walaa, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Sherby were delighted with the equipment features and its ease of use, Dr. Sherby commented:

“The CAC management staff at Cairo Airport-Egypt were keen on having a hi-tech system for bird strike prevention. Many companies were on the tender, but the Scarecrow system was unique in its function and its ease of use by our staff, and that was confirmed when we received the devices on our site. The device’s effectiveness was impressive along with the Senoussi & IGS team who provided good training and after-sales service. I will happily recommend Scarecrow products to other airports in Egypt to be their first choice.”

Scarecrow’s agent, Mr Abodaif said:

“Scarecrow is not just a manufacturer that sell high-end Bird Control equipment, they are a great supporter of their clients and agents, even in the most hard circumstances of Covid-19, they work closely with you whether in a professional manner. Mr Lee especially is friendly, flexible, and helpful and we are so glad to have dealt with him over the last two years. CAC was Scarecrow’s first client in Egypt but am sure that the rest of the airports will be on our valued client list very soon”
