ULTIMA V3
The success of this airside bird dispersal and data management system has even amazed the SCARECROW Team!
The whole concept of ULTIMA – dynamic, non-erasable, event reporting; GPS location identification; Airport image mapping; even logging use of firearm and other bird dispersal methods – all useful in proving due diligence and best practice management.

The ULTIMA Reporting System – 2700R – was added to the Scarecrow range of products in early 2011.
This handheld system has been designed to allow operators to complete airside forms electronically i.e. Aircraft Turnaround Audits.
The software is loaded onto a rugged tablet pc, which is designed for outdoor use, has a 21cm screen, in-built GPS and camera, it can also be vehicle mounted if required.
The system comes complete with a GPS calibrated map and Runway Inspection Module. It can also incorporate your bespoke or recommended Standard Reporting Forms.
ULTIMA, the airside solution that improves airside safety, saves time, and therefore costs of airside Operations......... Oh - and costs of litigation!
HELLO PREMIER 2020
Premier 2020 is the replacement for Premier 1500!
All rotary front panel controls are replaced with simple push buttons and a viewing screen which displays the FOURTEEN birds programmed to be dispersed, sound levels etc.
Premier 2020 can be used with ULTIMA 2700R to make this a complete ULTIMA 2700 system, therefore allowing budget limited Airports to invest in ULTIMA by first buying Premier 2020 then, when budgets allow, adding the ULTIMA Reporting touch screen product.

Well, you all know how to get rid of these – PATROL TWO, our hand held answer for dispersal from the above locations and around the airport perimeter.
Because PATROL TWO is easy to use, just a little training may be necessary, the job can be handled by non airside personnel.

New Avian Deterrent Grass Wins DuPont Innovation Award
An avian deterrent grass being commercialised by PGG Wrightson Turf has scooped the Australasian DuPont Innovation Award for Performance Materials, which recognises the commercialisation of outstanding science and technology in Australasia.
This exciting new innovation marketed under the brand name AvanexTM and developed by AgResearch, is an endophyte – infected grass which deters birds and insects from feeding on it.
