Where do they come from?

Scarecrow Bio-Acoustic Systems are specialists in bird dispersal technology. There is a lot more science to this that might, at first, meet the eye. To this end, Nigel Horton of NH Bird Management works closely with Scarecrow, researching, trialling and developing distress calls of the various species Scarecrow are commissioned to disperse.

We are often asked about how we attain and develop these very specific calls. The answer is by hours of patient and diligent research, sometimes working in inhospitable terrain, and always by ceaseless study of the habits and mannerisms of the various species.
