Friday 29 May 2009
Larnaca and Paphos Airports in Cyprus, Tripoli in Libya and Newquay in UK are four of the latest international airports to purchase Ultima, the ultimate in airside wildlife management incorporating Scarecrow’s highly efficient bio-acoustic bird dispersal and compliant data logging systems.
All four airports were trained on site in the use of Ultima, which includes updating Operators on ‘best practice’.Free software upgrades are provided for the first 12 months of Ultima use and a service and maintenance contract is an option for all airports.
Since its worldwide launch 2 years ago, Ultima technology has been further developed with advanced features added. In addition to Cyprus, Libya and the UK, Ultima is also being used at airports in New Zealand, Channel Islands, Ireland and India, amongst others.
