Scarecrow Bio-acoustic Systems Announces New Directorships
Monday 06 October 2008
Scarecrow Bio-acoustic Systems, the leading international innovator in bird dispersal technology, today announces the appointment of two new board members; Tom Diamond as Group Commercial Director and Lee Pannett as Operations Director.
These key appointments have been made at a time when Scarecrow is experiencing significant business growth and achieving recognition for technical excellence from leading authorities worldwide. Developing and launching its next generation technology Ultima, in February 2007, was a major turning point for the company, not only in terms of raising the company’s visibility in the sectors in which it operates, but also confirming its position as a market leader.
Both Tom Diamond and Lee Pannett have been driving forces behind the company’s recent successes. Tom joined as Group Commercial Manager in 2006 and will now have greater involvement in the general running of the Group. As Operations Director, Lee will help steer strategic direction whilst improving business efficiency.
Announcing the appointments, Scarecrow’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Walker said:
“Both Tom and Lee have very significant track records in technical and commercial management which is essential if we are to keep pushing the boundaries of developing innovative bird dispersal technology. Delivering our vision for continued growth in national and overseas markets will be achieved with our dedicated, knowledgeable and well-motivated workforce, and both Tom and Lee are ideally placed to help lead the business towards a more strategically focused operation.”
